Had a set back when moving from one database to another. Lost a couple weeks worth of data. If you previously created an account and it no longer works, odds are it was lost. I do apologize for this, hopefully this will be the last time I have to restore a backup.

The site seems to be doing well. I've finally managed to get the "Ads by Google" back up and running (bit of a hack, though). I know many folks don't like to see ads of this sort, but we've got to cover our expenses somewhere. So, while you're bouncing around the site, feel free to click a few ads here and there on products that interest you. Think of it as leaving us a tip. ;)

Okay, I finally got the forums up and running and have started adding some new features. So far I've added

• a filter that will convert smilies into emoticons.
• a private message system so that users can send messages back and forth here on the site. This keeps everyone from having to give out their email addresses and such.
• LEO only forums. I've set up a forum area that is restricted to those who we know are LEOs. This way we can speak of things common folk don't need to know about. I need suggestions for topical forums though.

Okay, the first e-issue (or whatever ya want to call it) is up. In the process, I found that there's still a couple kinks to be worked out. One of the first is the forums which still aren't working.

Just noticed we've got an error in the forums module. For some reason it's showing a negative count under topics and showing to be empty in the specific forum. I'm working on it and should have something fixed sometime today... stay tuned for further news. ;)

As everyone can see, we've added a new upcoming event section to the site. Looks really boring at the moment since there's nothing listed. Everyone, please send in all training and other events that you have planned so that we can list them!

Okay, it's been a long time coming but the new Arkansas Lawman website is up and running. There are still loads of changes to be made, but it's a start.
