The U.S. Secret Service Intelligence Division, Critical Protective Analysis Group (CPAG) will present this class which is geared for federal, state, and local law enforcement officers. This training is specifically designed to be a law enforcement sensitive briefing to provide current information regarding how terrorists continually adapt their tactics and weapons to subvert security, use the element of surprise, and engage in blending and disguise when conducting attacks. “We offered this training previously in our district and the comments we received were amazing. One officer said it was the best terrorism training he had attended since 9/11.� Joe Volpe, ATAC Coordinator, Eastern District of Arkansas Topics to be covered will include: • Pre-Operational Surveillance • Concealed Explosives • Waterborne Attacks • Soft Targets • Stand-Off Weapons • Remote Detonated Devices • Chemical/Biological Threats • Targeted Suicide Bombers • Diversionary Attacks • Improvised Explosive Devices The conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel on Ridge Lake Blvd., I-240 and Poplar Avenue, in Memphis, TN. The hotel has reserved a block of rooms for the evening of April 19 at a reduced rate of $78.00 plus tax.
