Body: * The Arkansas Division of the International Association for Identification is holding a training conference May 8th through the 12th in Hot Springs at The Clarion Resort. Registrations received before April 8th will be $80.00 for the conference. The conference fee is $100.00 after that date. Personnel who cannot attend the entire conference may attend specific days at a rate of $35.00 per day. Topics will range from footwear impressions, digital evidence, AFIX, DMORT and a presentation on the CSI Effect and how it affects the law enforcement community. Wednesday will be breakout workshop day with the following topics presented. Crime Scene (General processing), Alpha angles of blood stains, latent print comparison and the collection of major case prints, eleimination prints and processing textured surfaces. Topics will be offered in both the morning and afternoon, allowing attendees to select two of the four topics.
