ANOA annual conference held in Hot Springs

Officers from around the state gathered in Hot Springs for the annual Arkansas Narcotic Officers Association conference. Classes ranged from basic surveillance techniques to the connection between music and violence.

James Wilson was named president and will serve in that capacity for the next two years.

Sgt. Eudell Head, Mena Police Dept. received the President’s Award for Outstanding Service in recognition of his work supporting ANOA.

Started by narcotics investigators, membership in the association is open to all sworn law enforcement officers and offers a broad range of training topics.
