Apologies to everyone, this site was hacked and is now under repair

After a long delay, and an obvious hacking, this site will again be viable or an electronic newsletter attachment will take its place in the near future. Please check back from time to time. I will try to send out an email announcement to the agencies I have contact info for when the site is up and running. This should be in late summer of 2010.

Dubai Property Market

The property market in Dubai remains weak and is unlikely to recovery strongly before the second half of 2010, according to a new report.

Demand is focused in the Dubai rental market and buyer confidence has all but disappeared as prices have fallen by up to 50% since their peak last autumn, says the report from Egyptian investment bank EFG Hermes.

Officers attend EPIC/DEA interdiction school

114 officers representing 29 agencies attended an Interdiction training course hosted by the Fayetteville police Department and sponsored by DEA and EPIC. Officers came from as far away as Pennsylvania to participate.

Topics included Concealed compartments in private and commercial vehicles, Search and Seizure, Asset forfeiture, 4th and 14th amendment concerns, clan lab ingredients and officer safety, following the paper trail, the financial trail and bulk money shipments.

A semi tractor and trailer were on site to allow officers some practical experience.

Thirty seven Arkansas roulette spielen State Police Academy recruits graduated August 26th in ceemonies at the Arkansas State Capitol.

Pulaski County S.O. "PULSE" program for schools

Pulaski Co. school resource officers are going back to school with a prevention education program that teaches “life skills� needed for student success. Rather than focusing on a single topic like drug use or avoiding gang life, the program includes those topics with re-enforcement for making solid responsible decisions and understanding of the risk of illegal or inapprpriate behavior in all areas of life. Developed by Pulaski Co. S.O.Sgt Joseph Green with the cooperation of Sheriff Randy Johnson, Chief Deputy Jackie Goodson, Public Information Officer John Rehrauer, and Pulaski County’s school resource officers, the course is intended to teach basic life skills the children can carry in to adulthood.

ASP issues Commendation

.(Little Rock) Eleven Arkansas State Police Troopers and Special Agents were recognized with the awarding of official commendations by Director of the Arkansas State Police, Colonel Steve Dozier and the Arkansas State Police Commission. The Arkansas State Police Official Commendation is presented to troopers and civilian employees when the employee, through diligence and perseverance, performs beyond the call of duty under unusual circumstances and conditions. Cpl Ben Cross for actions taken during the pursuit of a murder suspect who fired on officers.

Jody Evans rocks on "Star" tour

Arkadelphia P.D. Officer Jody Evans rocks on “Star� Tour “I’m loving every minute of it!� said Jody Evans whose rockabilly singing style earned a spot on the Nashville Star Tour as one of the top finalists. “Its a lot of hard work and I think I am more tired than I have ever been in my life but at the same time getting to sing for people is absolutely the greatest!� Evans said. Jody also wanted to thank all the officers who showed their support during the Nashville Star contest and tour. The tour has taken them across most of the U.S. Jody was recently back in Arkansas for a show at the Electric Cowboy in Little Rock.
